Dimitri Iundt

France

Bio

Dimitri is Gilbert Iundt’s son, a great sports photographer. As Dimitri refused to work at school, he helped out in his father’s studio and photo lab. When he was 18 he joined the Tempsport agency that his father had just founded with Jean-Yves Ruzniewski, another big name in this specialised field. He started out by learning the trade.

Things fell into place for him two years later when he went to Seoul for the Olympic Games with the « grown-ups ». He realised the importance of the event and, at the same time, his passion for the job. He found it thrilling and he wanted to convey the feeling.

Highly motivated and daring in the angles and frames of his shots, he brought back a fantastic and original feature which instantly changed his status. He was twenty.

For the past few years he has worked less for the press. He produces documentary features and films for advertising. He needed this change of course so as to no longer simply report back, but also to express something by having a choice over players and events.
