Franck Seguin
France
Bio
Franck Seguin started out in the trade as a « resort » photographer at Alpe d’Huez. He took photographs of tourists but also produced, with one of his skiing friends, the images for a beginner’s guide to snowboarding. The publisher was delighted and entrusted him with all the books in this new collection which covered every sport. His career was launched. He went on to work for the Tempsory agency, followed by Corbis then Deadline. Franck Seguin won a World Press Photo award in 2006 for his work on the freediver, Guillaume Néry. He now works for L’Equipe where, as well as producing his own features, he co-directs this illustrious paper’s pack of image hunters.
He is a Canon Ambassador, and his work is recognised by his peers and specialists the world over. He is currently one of the great sports photographers.
