Bio

Bruno Aveillan discovered the photography when he was young, thanks to his uncle and the magazine Zoom, a legendary and multicultural magazine with Sarah Moon or Ralph Gibson as photographers.

He studied at l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Perpignan and Toulouse. Nowadays, he is a plastic artiste and is dedicated to many ways of expression in art, with an image which is easily identifiable.

The artworks of this famous filmdirector and photographer are rewarded and known in the world, like his short movie L’Odyssée for the brand Cartier, which was seen at a preview showing at MoMA in New York by 200 millions of spectators. This short movie received more than 40 international rewards including one Lion d’Or in Cannes.

Concerning the photography, Bruno Aveillan gets away from a realistic representation in order to sacralize an impressionnist and poetic approach. His photographs are exhibited in the world and are included in famous private and public collections in Europe, United States and Asia.

Bruno Aveillan received more than 190 international rewards in his career including the Outstanding Merit Cristal Excellence at MoCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) in San Diego in 2014 and a Visionary Artist Award at Film Festival in Milan the same year.
