Having finished his journalism studies with a thesis (more modestly, a dissertation) on photojournalism perspectives in Belgium, this native of Brussels veered towards documentary photography in 2007 at the age of 26. His reportages have taken him to China, Kazakhstan as well as Iraqi Kurdistan, but he has travelled most often to the Democratic Republic of Congo, this brand new nation whose history echoes his own country’s so strongly.
His work is regularly exhibited in Europe and published by some of the world’s best-known magazines. He is a founding member of the « Out of Focus » photography collective and his work is also syndicated by the Parisian photography agency, Picturetank.
